Club members were devastated this week to learn of the sudden death of Brian Gregan on Monday 13th March.
Brian was an assistant manager with our Senior 1st team and a very popular and dedicated member of our club. Brian's loss will be felt immensely around Paddy's Hill especially on home match days when Brian would be up early setting up the pitch and warm-up exercises for the lads.
A football man through and through, Brian spent the majority of his playing & managerial career with our neighbours Malahide Utd before heading over the hill to Portmarnock AFC about 5 years ago initially to manage our Senior 2nd team.
Brian went on to become a fundamental part of recent 1st team successes.
All club members who knew Brian and in particular our Senior section management and players who worked with him are so sad at his passing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Michelle and his girls Kate and Anna May and Brian's mother and brothers at this distressing time.
