Congratulations to Portmarnock AFC U10's Saturday Team
Our U10 Saturday team made the trip out to Rathfarnham last Saturday to play in Leicester Celtic’s 7-a-side tournament (part of their 50th year celebrations). This group are a talented bunch and they certainly proved it on the day, winning 4 and drawing 1 of their games to win the tournament.
The commitment and skill from the boys was great to see as they overcame St. Kevin’s, Swords, Leicester Celtic and Cabinteely. Alex Bailey grabbed the winner in the final against Cabinteely. Great for the boys to experience the joy of winning a cup (and a goodie bag). Well done to Tristan, Mark and Kevin and thanks to Leicester Celtic for organizing a great football day. We look forward to seeing the boys make the transition to DDSL 7-a-side in 2018.
