Heatwave Brings Huge Success for Mini Leagues
Portmarnock AFC struck gold again for their mini leagues last weekend. Wall to wall sunshine greeted over 220 nippers, u8/9s and 10/11s for a fantastic three days of football.
More pitches, more boys and girls and more matches put huge pressure on the organising committee to fit everything into three days. It was a fantastic event filled with delight and agony as teams battled so hard for that coveted gold and silver medal.
Many thanks to all involved, which was a huge undertaking for the club and relied on so many managers and club volunteers to help out over the weekend.
