U8 Navy team vs Swords Celtic
The U8 Navy team had their very first away match representing Portmarnock last Sunday, when they took on Swords Celtic in a local derby.
There were great skills on display from both sides, with the Portmarnock Boys completing much more passes than in previous weeks.
The coaches were very impressed with the teams ability to take on and dribble past the opposition. There was also some great long range shooting!
For the second week in a row the boys had to struggle through some inclement weather which may have hampered some of the silky skills on display.
The games came to an abrupt end at half time in the second match when a downpour of hailstones forced both teams to seek shelter under the only tree nearby.
Looking forward to getting out on the pitch again after a break for Paddy's day
