PAFC got the green light to return to football this week. The club put a comprehensive plan in place to allow our teams return to action safely. We have chosen five parking and playing venues in the area, utilising all our grass playing pitches including Paddyshill pitch 1 and 2. Hand and equipment sanitising gels and sprays have been issued to each team with a view to minimise the transmission of covid-19.
Pictured are players and coaches from U11A Sunday getting their first taste of training since February. Team coach Ger Thompson said "it's fantastic to get back on the training ground."
The club would like to thank Damien McEvoy and Craig Bolton for putting together the club protocols and rolling them out on behalf of the club. Here's to a fantastic summer ahead for the children of Portmarnock.
